The Integration Joint Board

The Integration Joint Board (IJB) is responsible for the strategic planning and delivery of health and social care services across Perth and Kinross.

It brings together local elected members, non-executive members of NHS Tayside, Third Sector representatives, and senior officials from both NHS Tayside and Perth & Kinross Council. Unpaid carers and people who use services also play a vital role in shaping the Board's decisions.

The Perth and Kinross IJB was formally established in October 2015, following approval by the Scottish Parliament. Its first meeting took place in November 2015, marking the beginning of a collaborative approach to integrated care in the region.
